Platte Valley Middle School will honor local veterans during a special Veterans Day Assembly on Friday, November 6th, 2026.

Veterans are invited to begin the morning with a breakfast hosted by NJHS from 7:30–8:30 a.m. in the Middle School Performing Arts Center. Students will then gather in the Middle School Gym at 8:30 a.m. for a Veterans Day assembly honoring those who have served our country.

Following the assembly, 8th-grade students will have an opportunity to visit with veterans during a question-and-answer session, giving students a chance to learn more about their experiences and service.

PVMS will also recognize veterans who are family members of students and staff through a special slideshow. Families who would like to have a veteran included are asked to submit a digital photo, the veteran’s name, rank, branch of service, and years served to Mr. Arkulari at [email protected].

Veterans who plan to attend the assembly are asked to RSVP to Mr. Arkulari by Monday, November 2nd.

We look forward to gathering as a school community to recognize and thank the veterans who have served our country.
